Following the range of fundings made available for portuguese companies by the EU, BILION has been elected for two co-funded projects under the following programs:

- Objectives, activities and expected and/or achieved results:
Bilion – Máquinas Ferramentas e Plásticos, Unipessoal LDA has its core business centered around the area of partitions and hardware namely a wide range of accessories and components for sectional garage doors. Thanks to the implementation of this internationalization plan the company is aiming to achieve the following strategic objectives:
- Enter international markets, thus starting the company’s export activity;
- Increase presence in digital media;
- Increase and diversify its customer portfolio;
- Increase the company’s total turnover.

- Objectives, activities and expected and/or achieved results: Bilion – Máquinas Ferramentas e Plásticos, Unipessoal LDA is a small company dedicated to the conception, manufacturing and whosale of accordion, sectional garage doors, expanding and rollable grilles accessories and components. This program allows Bilion to increase its habilty to develop and produce new produtcs, like nylon rollers, a brand new kind of spring bumper and new safety devices both for spring break and cable failure prevention. These products were, until now, imported and resale since there was no production available in Portugal

- Objectives, activities and expected and/or achieved results: This project focuses on the diversification of the company’s portfolio through the manufacture of more complex products with different specifications than the current ones. The launching of new quality solutions at competitive prices will allow BILION to conquer an ever wider range of customers, with a firm focus on foreign markets. This new project will allow a GVA of 935,145.06 € in the post-project year, a an expected turn-over of 3,113,788.79 € as well as the creation of 5 qualified work jobs.
- IMPROVING THE COMPETITIVENESS OF SME’S
- Project’s designation: Capacity building operation and development of new solutions, supported by import substitution

- Main Objective: Promote sustainability and quality of employment and support worker mobility
- Region of intervention:North (Portugal)

- Objectives, activities and expected and/or achieved results: With this project, Billion intends to make new investments that are fundamental to increasing its response capacity, especially in the steel cutting area. In addition, one of its objectives is also to start the production of a new L-type rail for side spring doors. With the planned investments, it will thus be possible to optimize and reinforce the sustainability of the processes by improving the safety and working conditions of workers, as well as ensuring an improvement in the quality of the products offered. As for the result indicator, this involves ensuring at least 29 jobs in the 6 months after the completion of the operation
